Highland third graders are excited about the opportunity to present the musical Pirates of Grammar Island. This musical from Bad Wolf Press powerfully stresses language in new ways. The kids are loving the music!! You should hear them singing around home. :0) From now until the week before Christmas break students will be learning the music and practicing the dialogue. Performances will be during the last week before break, December 17th-22nd. This schedule will be posted later. Several parents have expressed interest in participating in a number of ways, such as practicing parts, planning costumes, or painting a mural for our set. Mrs. Julia Standish has agreed to help me organize our event. We intend to keep everything simple and fun for the kids. If you would like to help in some way, please contact me.
